Broken Hero

Luke has always been one to help people. But when attempting to rescue his friend, Jason, during a government experiment gone wrong, he's caught in an explosion that changes his life forever. Immediately following the accident, Luke begins to have nightmares, and can hear voices in his head, calling for help. With the voices, though, comes the realization that he has superhuman powers and the ability to, "Make things happen." Now, instead of just helping people, he's saving people, but unbeknownst to Luke, the destiny of the world's first superhero may not even involve the world he's trying to save. The O.C.A.A, a secret government organization, has been pursuing Luke since he received his special abilities. Setting a trap for him, the evil triumvirate behind O.C.A.A. hope they can capture Luke by using Mary - his lifelong friend and the woman he loves - as bait. Accompanying him on his mission is Jason, who views Luke's super powers as more of a curse than a gift. With his failing powers and growing doubt in humanity, Luke makes a final stand for what he believes in and only love, or lack thereof, will determine his fate.
