In a near-future world where emotional energy is powered by sound, a mysterious extra-dimensional force known as "The Mutes" invades Earth. Their goal is to devour all vibracional energy, leaving humanity in a state of absolute silence and cognitive decay. Conventional weapons are useless against these entities, as they absorb kinetic energy that isn't synchronized to a specific harmonic frequency.
