With a Mouth Full of Diamonds takes place in the suburbs of New Jersey, and examines some of the hidden fires that burn beneath the quiet veneer of middle-class life through the eyes of 15-year old Diamond. Restless and on the eve of his 16th birthday, he finds he no longer belongs in this environment of which he is very much a product.
