When Richie hits his mid-life crisis and realizes his life is a joke after being reassured by his younger sister, Victoria, to grow up for once. Richie goes out and ends up running into 3 other guys who are dealing with the same issues in life. So the four go out and seek the "American Dream" like their forefathers did, by stealing and causing violence to get exactly what they feel they deserve. This has repercussions though as they start to learn the hard way that they are not the only ones who live out the "American Dream."
