Two siblings of different races, Keelin and her older brother, Lars, try to survive a mysterious plague in an apocalyptic world that mirrors that of our own. As human morality has taken a turn for the worse, the infected become husks of their former selves with a singular goal in mind: to infect and kill. After years of being on the run in search of a safe haven, Keelin and Lars' world shifts when a chance encounter with a young woman named Delilah saves their lives. Offering them a warm, and cozy, place to stay for the night, things seem to be looking up for the brother-sister duo, but an anxious Keelin realizes that everything is definitely not what it seems. A rift between the two siblings develops after a changed Lars comes to Delilah's defense, finding himself to be infatuated by her persona and kindhearted nature: something he hasn't seen in many years, but is this to his dismay? Or can she truly be trusted?
