Charlie Sheppard is trying to follow in the footsteps of his father, legendary children's author Peter Sheppard, but his ruthless anxiety always gets in the way. On deadline day for his new story, things go from bad to worse when Charlie finds himself unable to hang up the phone on a mysterious, persuasive, insulting telemarketer.
