About a childless couple for 20 years, Don Ramon (Panchito) and Carmen (Rosa Mia). Carmen often goes to church praying hoping that they would have a child. After 20 years, Carmen had not only one but twins Lita and Nita (both portrayed by Gloria Romero). Lita grew up to be liberated while Nita was the conservative type. Lita's boyfriend Tony (Ramon Revilla Sr.) mistook Nita for Lita at one time during their birthday. As a business owner, Don Ramon had a feud with one of Lita's suitors Pedring (Eddie Garcia) who decided to order his men to kidnap Lita in exchange of 20 thousand pesos but his men kidnaps Nita instead. The story ends with a Nita's rescue having all Pedring's men repent their sins and her asking her family to be a nun.
